To javascript or not to javascript?
I am a fan of PHP so I spend a fair amount of time browsing the PHP forums and often come across people giving lots the reasons why javascript should never be used. The purpose of this demo is to attempt to show that it is completely possible for a javascript and a non javascript version to both be native to one single page. Try this demo with and without javascript. Enter some numbers into the first two boxes and then, if you are trying the non javascript version, press calculate. Notice though, although the result is the same, the functionality is completely different. This demo shows that if used correctly javascript can make pages lightning fast and save bandwidth while at the same time not eliminate those that do not wish to use it.
